Christmas 2010

I know it has been awhile since I posted. 2 boys have sure been keeping me busy this year. I can only keep up with one thing at a time (so usually choose to do FB).
So I thought I better update with some Christmas pictures.

Surprise Guests...

This morning my Mom called and asked if I was up for visitors today. I said, "Sure!" We're not doing anything else... just waiting for a baby to come. She and my dad drove up for a visit today. It was a nice surprise and a welcomed visit. Since I knew they were coming, I decided I would make the cherry pie that I've been telling Bart for the last couple of days that I was going to make him, that way they can help us eat it.

Here's our Christmas Cherry Pie, homemade, of course!
Ethan and "Pappa," his buddy!
Ethan got to open his last gift from us (which Mom picked up for me). We also got to open our gifts from the Haase & Fogle extended family Christmases.
Ethan, trying to "fix" his farm set with Daddy's screw-driver. (Yikes, he had it for about 10 seconds before we took it away, don't worry!)
Smiling sweetly for a picture with his new farm, which he LOVES!
Daddy & Ethan in their matching blue/gold Rugby shirts.
Thanks so much for coming today, Dad & Mom! It was nice to see you guys. Ethan loved playing with Grandma & Grandpa "Momma & Pappa". :-) Thanks for bringing us the gifts and food also. See you in a few days, this time I'll have a smaller belly. :-)

Merry Christmas!

Here we are, Christmas Morning, still waiting for our little one to arrive, so we're celebrating Christmas Day at home, alone for the first time in 30+ years. :-)

Christmas morning breakfast: homemade cinnamon rolls with homemade cream cheese frosting.
After breakfast, Daddy read the Christmas story from Ethan's Christmas book.
Waiting patiently to open his presents, such a cute boy!Our little "elf" passing out the presents from Grandma & Grandpa Haase.
"I'm gonna' wrap up myself for Christmas...'cause that's what I'm giving to Jesus, it's a present he'll like I know."

Christmas with Family...

Below are a few pictures of our families during our Christmas gatherings.

Since we do not get to see each other very often, the holiday gatherings are an extra special blessing. We also enjoy remembering Our Savior's birth together as families.

Ethan loves kids! He is laughing at his cousin, Taylor,
who is trying to get him to smile for the picture.

The Haase grandkids all posing for their picture before they open gifts on Christmas morning.

The Glupker grandkids posing for their picture on Christmas Eve night.

The Glupker gang all together. We also celebrated Lance's (Bart's brother) graduation from Ferris State University.

The Haase's (my family) spending Christmas Day together.

As you can tell by the pictures, we never have a dull moment at our family's homes. With all of the kids around, it is usually busy and bustling with energy.

Then of course, my favorite Christmas picture...
